Paolina Allan is a champion. But more than that, her passion and energy for the sport of triathlon is infectious, and her gregarious personality makes her the perfect choice for our Honourary Race Director for the Ontario Women’s Triathlon!
Paolina Allan is a former professional triathlete and road cyclist. When she was at her best she was one of the best long distance triathletes in Canada, and one of the counties top time-trialists in cycling. She has placed in the top-5 of various Ironman races around the world. She has been awarded both Triathlon Canada’s and Triathlon Ontario’s Elite Long Course Triathlete of the Year award. The last few years have seen a focus on bike road racing with many top places and wins in both elite level road races as well as on the Gran Fondo circuit. As she transitions out of high level competition, Paolina has started coaching cyclists and triathletes privately, under her Red Thread Coaching business. She lives in Aurora, Ontario, with her Husband, and dog Gravy!
